Welcome to the NERCOMP 2008 Blog
This blog is a pilot initiative to introduce blogging as an aspect of the NERCOMP Annual Conference. The goal is to enrich the experience of attendees and offer those who can’t make the conference an opportunity to participate.
The mission of NERCOMP is to enhance the communication and dissemination of information related to the use of computers, networks and information technology in education, academic research and educational administration throughout the northeastern United States. NERCOMP is an affiliate of EDUCAUSE.
We’ve chosen five sessions on topics we think will be conducive to rich online conversation. A moderator will “blog” the session here within a day or two of the conference, summarizing the salient points made during the presentation and the audience response.
Presenters may make their own blog entries, and everyone else can make comments.
